TODDLER program
How your child plays, speaks and moves offers important clues about their development. For this reason we work diligently to develop social and emotional skills like responding to direction or mimicking or repeating certain behaviors or phrases. Cognitive skills are developed throughout the day by pushing in chairs, holding their cup properly, picking up items with their fingers, etc. As you can see there is so much to cover in a day! Our loving educators will not only aid in the development of your child but give the loving care that you seek in our 18 month program.
EARLY PRESCHOOL program
How your child plays, speaks and moves offers important clues about their development. Exploring cognitive skills such as following 2-step instructions and sorting happen naturally in the classroom, however we take it a step further by working with puzzles and building towers. Social and emotional skills are honed as they learn to share items and space. Combined with our loving educators as guides, you child is set up to thrive academically, emotionally and spiritually.
PRESCHOOL program
How your child plays, speaks and moves offers important clues about their development. For this reason our educators strive to develop fine motor skills such as holding writing tools, buttoning buttons and zipping zippers. Simple activities such as screwing and unscrewing jars, dressing themselves and turning pages in a book will be refined through their daily activities. When we pair enjoyable educational activities with nurturing care from our educators our children fall in love with learning.
pre-kindergarten program
We pride ourselves in providing developmentally appropriate activities to prepare students to successfully enter kindergarten. The basic readiness skills we foster range from beginning writing skills, recognizing patterns, self-help skills, and listening and comprehension. APL Pre-Kindergarten students utilize Lexia Core 5 to develop literacy skills by allowing students to work at their own pace. At the culmination of the Fall Program, students will be promoted to kindergarten during the Graduation Ceremony.
